Blocky Yoke Gives Summer Cardigan a Fun Twist

There are lots of different things you can do with the yoke of a sweater. You can work cables or lace, or colorwork of all sorts to bring a little more interest to that part of the project.

Weld from Berroco uses squares that are joined together to form the yoke of this bottom up, short sleeved cardigan. The multicolored yarn they used emphasizes that design feature even more.

The pattern is rated intermediate and comes in 10 sizes. You can grab the free pattern from Berroco’s website.
