Knit an Acorn — or a Bunch — for Your Fall Decor

I’m not really one to decorate with acorns, but I can attest to nature’s willingness to decorate my whole neighborhood with acorns this time of year. And now that I’ve seen this knit acorn pattern from Kim Hamlin at Fiber & Vine, I might just be ready to bring some acorns into my interior decor as well.

This sweet design is greatly enlarged from those found in nature (it measures 4.5 by 3 inches), and it’s worked in worsted weight yarn for fast and easy knitting. They would be super cute in a bowl on the Thanksgiving table, or make one as a gift for whoever is hosting this year if you’re going to be at someone else’s table.

You can download the free pattern on Ravelry.
